This Halloween weekend, Dubai’s festival crowd is heading east. Snoopy Beats returns to Sandy Beach Hotel & Resort in Fujairah from 30th October to 1st November, transforming the coastline overlooking Snoopy Island into Milkshake Ranch – a three-day escape blending music, fashion, art, food and plenty of playful surprises. This year’s theme brings a retro Americana twist to the festival, with denim and diamonds, rodeo-inspired style and cowboy chic taking over the resort, all set against the scenic Hajar Mountains. Across four stages, guests can expect a mix of international artists and emerging talent, while immersive experiences, markets and unexpected pop-ups will be scattered around the resort.

La Casa De Cherries lands at Area 57 in Al Quoz from 2nd–4th October, bringing together a curated line-up of independent labels and emerging designers shaping Dubai’s fashion, fitness and accessories scene. Expect names including 222 Ave, Toonz, Maison Mar, Sixteen Activewear, By Hala, Hiba Hasbini, Rai The Label, Clutch, ZOYEH STUDIO, Knotty Dreams and ATTŌ Studios, giving fashion lovers the chance to discover new collections, meet the founders behind the brands and get ahead of the pieces set to make their way into local wardrobes. Alongside the shopping, there will be coffee, desserts and workshop experiences throughout the weekend.

Korea is landing in Dubai this September, as the city gets its first-ever Dubai K-Fest, a 10-day celebration of all things Korean running from 25th September to 4th October. Expect a citywide mix of K-pop concerts, Korean films, K-beauty, fashion, food, shopping and cultural experiences, with the festival bringing a taste of Korea to destinations across Dubai. The festivities begin at Dubai Festival City Mall on 25 September with a free concert at Festival Bay, featuring South Korean solo artist Kwon Eunbi and K-pop boy band ONEUS, alongside the IMAGINE Show. Centred around four themes – Celebrate Korea, Shop Korea, Win Korea and Taste Korea – the festival is a chance to discover the best of Korean culture, from live performances and beauty finds to dining experiences, shopping offers and prizes, all without leaving Dubai.

If you need a good laugh, the UAE’s comedy calendar is looking particularly strong this autumn, with some big international names taking to stages across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Russell Peters returns to Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 25 October, bringing his fast-paced delivery, sharp cultural observations and plenty of crowd interaction to the capital. Over in Dubai, the Dubai Comedy Festival runs from 9–18 October, with a packed line-up including Iranian-Canadian Neema Naz, whose hilarious impersonations and global perspective come to the New Covent Garden Theatre on 17 October, alongside comedians including Rafi Bastos, Shane Todd and Vir Das.

Beach season is back, with Summersalt at Jumeirah Al Naseem reopening on 28th September. Overlooking the Burj Al Arab, it’s a prime spot for a long lunch, sunset drinks or a full day by the sea. The Summersalt Beach Club will also reopen for the season, with daily access to the beach and pool from 9am until sunset. The restaurant’s popular Latin American-inspired menu will be served at lunch and dinner.

A new kind of mum meet-up is brewing in Dubai’s social scene. Paus’ Mum’s Matcha Mornings are designed as a relaxed, judgement-free space for mums to step away from the daily juggle and have honest conversations about motherhood, identity and everything in between. Held at the serene Paus Club in Al Wasl, the gatherings bring together mothers for a cup of matcha and a different conversation each time, from parenting and relationships to the parts of motherhood that are not always talked about.

Beauty’s biggest names are taking centre stage this month as Beautyworld Dubai celebrates its 30th edition from 6–8 October, with two of the industry’s most in-demand make-up artists, Mary Phillips and Patrick Ta. The renowned beauty moguls will take over The Makeup Studio for exclusive two-hour masterclasses. Phillips, the celebrity make-up artist behind some of Hollywood’s most recognisable looks and founder of m.ph Beauty, will share her signature skin-focused techniques on 6TH October, while Patrick Ta - whose client list boasts Ariana Grande, Gigi and Bella Hadid and the Kardashians – will bring his signature take on modern glamour on 8 October.

A new exhibition at Alserkal Avenue explores the relationship between nature, memory, and time. Ishara Art Foundation presents ‘The Sky Held It, The Earth Remembered’ in collaboration with the Han Nefkens Foundation, bringing together major works by South Asian artists, Shahana Rajani, Rohini Devasher and Sarker Protick. Through multimedia works in photography, moving image, and installation, the exhibition explores how land, water and the cosmos can act as living archives, carrying traces of ecological change and human history across time. Now on view at Ishara Art Foundation in Alserkal Avenue until 15 December 2026, it’s one for anyone looking to discover unique contemporary art in Dubai this season.

Nobu One Za’abeel is giving us another reason to love sushi, with its new Lunch Above The City set menu available from Friday to Sunday. Priced at AED 159 per person, the three-course experience brings together Nobu’s signature Japanese cuisine with Peruvian influences, served high above the Dubai skyline in The Link. Expect welcome bites, followed by a choice of starters, mains and dessert, with highlights including salmon tataki with jalapeño, seafood ceviche, assorted sushi and rolls, and grilled salmon with ikura yuzu butter and umami baby chicken. Naturally, the famous black cod miso and yellowtail jalapeño are available for a supplement.
