Whispering Angel Turns 20
Few names are as closely associated with summers in the south of France as Whispering Angel. First created at Château d'Esclans in Provence in 2006, the pale rosé has spent the past two decades becoming a fixture everywhere from beach clubs in Pampelonne to terraces overlooking the Mediterranean. This year, the iconic wine celebrates its 20th anniversary with the release of a special-edition bottle commemorating the milestone. Featuring a bespoke anniversary label and the 2025 vintage, the release pays tribute to the estate that helped redefine Provençal rosé on the global stage. Jacquemus is back on the Riviera this summer, returning to Monte-Carlo Beach for a second season with a fresh take on Mediterranean glamour. Following its debut in 2025, the fashion house has once again transformed the iconic beach club with a set design inspired by the elegance of 1950s seaside destinations, blending retro Riviera charm with Jacquemus’ playful, contemporary aesthetic. This year, the signature banana yellow has been replaced with a softer palette of mint blue, coconut white and black, with the brand’s instantly recognisable diagonal stripes running throughout the space. From the jetty and sun loungers to umbrellas and towels, every detail has been reimagined to create a graphic, sun-soaked setting. The Pool Bar has also been refreshed to host guests who want respite from sunshine. For those wanting to take a piece of the collaboration home, two boutiques at Monte-Carlo Beach are stocked with exclusive co-branded pieces including towels, T-shirts and beach bags.
