The Arab-Inspired Wellness Retreat

KHUN, Fujairah

Set to open in Fujairah in late 2026, KHUN is one of the UAE's most exciting new wellness concepts, offering a fresh approach to restoration inspired by centuries of Arab wellness philosophy. Rather than traditional spa schedules or fitness programmes, the 48-hour retreat is designed around architecture, nature and intentional solitude, encouraging guests to slow down and reconnect through thoughtfully designed spaces, thermal rituals, mindful nutrition and time immersed in the surrounding raw landscape. Created as a series of architect-designed sanctuaries with minimal environmental impact, KHUN places Arab well-being traditions at the heart of the experience.

Mariolino Beach House is a new Mediterranean-inspired hospitality concept created by Mario Jr Haddad, centred around coastal living, Lebanese warmth and the art of gathering. There is also a spa and wellness studio, pool and beach, with morning movement sessions and recovery treatments alongside long, lazy afternoons by the water. With natural textures, sun-kissed linen, warm woods and relaxed coastal interiors throughout, Mariolino feels like a cool, stylish home by the sea that you never want to leave.
