Editor’s Letter: September

Dear Readers,

Welcome to this new chapter of SheerLuxe Middle East! I stepped into the role of Editor-in-Chief earlier this summer and my start was nothing short of full-on – kicking off with a trip to London to meet the SheerLuxe team, followed by a stop at Bicester Village where my credit card got quite the workout! I then returned to Dubai to dive into content and strategy planning for the much-anticipated September season, along with a few podcast recordings with some of Dubai’s most talented voices.

One of the highlights has been our podcast with  Marriam Mossalli, where we delved into her incredible career journey. It was truly inspiring to hear her story and see how she’s navigated the industry with such passion and determination. If you haven’t listened yet, you must.

As we all know, time flies when things are busy, and this September is no exception. Despite the lingering heat, the calendar is full of exciting events and happenings across the region. The energy in the air is palpable, and we’re eagerly looking forward to everything this season has to offer.

By the time you're reading this, we’ll already be in the middle of Dubai Fashion Week. Georgie’s coming to attend some action-packed events – from exclusive shows to behind-the-scenes moments, our team will be on the ground capturing every moment. With Riyadh Fashion Week also on the horizon in October, the fashion calendar is truly heating up. And the best part? You can enjoy front-row access from wherever you are, as we’ll be featuring all the highlights across SheerLuxe’s social channels. 

But that’s not all. We’re thrilled to be welcoming the SheerLuxe UK team to Dubai. They’ll be joining us for an exciting week in September when we’ll be filming new episodes of our Leading Ladies series, showcasing the most inspiring women in the region. Our latest episode with Mrs. Keepa was very popular – her wardrobe is too good. Plus, we’ll be opening the doors to some of Dubai’s most beautiful homes for our Home Tours series.

This is just the beginning of what’s to come, so stay tuned.
