Good style always starts with my black raw silk palm tree blazer. It’s the piece I reach for most often – easy to dress up with tailored trousers or down with denim or even workout pants. I like things with a bit of edge, so I tend to style my designs with pieces from brands like SchiaparelliMiu Miu and Loewe. Schiaparelli has that bold elegance I’m drawn to, Miu Miu has a playful sophistication and Loewe’s craftsmanship never fails. I recently bought the draped jeans and trousers – both have this modern twist I love.

I always fall back on a few essentials: well-cut trousers, a tank and a great tee. These are the foundation of any outfit and can be styled up or down depending on my day. I also love the ease of sunglasses to pull everything together – my favourites include pairs by Loewe, Bottega, YSL, Chanel and Philo Eyewear. When I want to add more personality, I’ll layer on my gold and diamond tennis bracelets – those two pieces rarely come off.

There’s no product that compares to the CONFIDENCE that comes from being fully sure of WHO WE ARE.

Right now, I’m especially interested in the way athletic wear is evolving. It’s practical, feminine and easy. Port De Bras makes such good activewear and I’ve just discovered MOTHER denim. For summer, LilyEve’s upcycled towelling jackets are a fun addition – I love how they feel elevated but still relaxed.

Jewellery is art. Schiaparelli and Begüm Khan both make the kind of pieces that turn heads – I always get stopped when I wear them. The most meaningful jewellery I own is what my mother gave me when I got married, including a few sets she received at her own wedding. They’re beautiful, sentimental and completely irreplaceable.

My beauty routine is pretty low maintenance. I love the Moonglaze highlighter stick for a dewy finish and I always use the Chanel Les Beiges Cream Bronzer. My go-to lip combo is the NARS ‘American Woman’ paired with  M·A·C’s ‘Chestnut’ liner. I stick to a sleek hair look most days and Aesop’s Sculpt Hair Polish helps me achieve that perfect finish.

Skincare is all about consistency. I get two facials a month – usually a microdermabrasion or a Black Diamond facial using 111SKIN products. At home, I keep things simple with the SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Cleanser, CE Ferulic serum and Dermalogica’s Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream. I’m a big fan of face massages too; they add such a healthy glow and feel like a moment of self-care.

Most days, I’d rather listen to a podcast than watch TV. I walk every morning and usually tune into something motivational, whether it’s Brendon BurchardGrant Mitt or The Business of Fashion. I like to start the day with positive energy.

For homeware, I love the L’OBJET x Haas Brothers collection. But my favourite pieces are always the ones I’ve collected while travelling. I make a point to buy a piece of art on every trip – it’s something I can look at and immediately be reminded of a place, memory or moment in time.

@BegumKhan
Travel has always been my biggest SOURCE OF INSPIRATION – both in style and in life.

Weekend dinners are usually spent with the family, often trying new places. MayaBay at Jumeirah Al Naseem is a regular favourite, and the kids love it too. When we’re at Dubai Mall, OFK is always a good choice, and Shanghai Me in DIFC is another spot we go back to often. Recently, I’ve been exploring the restaurants at J1 Beach – the energy is amazing, with great food, beautiful interiors and plenty of people-watching.

A good workout is really my time to relax. Some of my favourite spots in Dubai include Reform Athletica in DIFC, DRYP yoga and boxing at Boxica. It’s part of my routine that grounds me and gives me the space to reset.

One habit I believe everyone should adopt is positive self-talk. There’s no product that compares to the confidence that comes from being fully sure of who we are. That mindset shapes how I move through the day.

Lately, my creativity has been fuelled by a recent trip to Spain. The vibrant colours of the tiles and the patterns really stood out to me, and it’s something you’ll definitely see reflected in my future designs. Travel has always been my biggest source of inspiration – both in style and in life.

Every day feels like a milestone since I created my label four years ago. My clients and the friends I’ve made throughout this journey mean a lot to me. Being discovered by SheerLuxe feels like another special moment in this chapter.
