Nobu By The Beach
Best For: Foodies
When one of the world’s best restaurants wants to open its first beach club, the list of hotels able to meet such a challenge is small. Step forward Atlantis The Royal, Dubai’s superstar property on the Palm, which houses Nobu by the Beach, a minimalistic Japanese oceanfront house, which recently welcomed Kanye West. The restaurant is led by Belkacem Boubekeur – who’s worked at Nobu since 2018. The menu of Japanese and Peruvian small bites includes sandos, tacos, bento boxes and ceviche served in a coconut shell. To finish, try the kakigori – shaved ice flavoured with lychee and watermelon or coconut and macadamia. Keep your eyes peeled for the complimentary Nobu popsicles, too, and the helpful staff who offer ultrasonic jewellery and sunglasses cleaning. High rollers may fancy taking the Private Pool Cabana for up to ten guests that comes with a food platter, two bottles of champagne and a fridge filled with soft drinks. Prices start from AED 12,500 per day.
