HAIRCARE

“For all things hair, I visit Snob and my hair colourist, Wafa. I like my hair lighter with an ashier tone, but that can cause dryness (especially in the heat) so Wafa is great at ensuring I get the colour I want but also at minimising damage. Usually, my appointments consist of either a full head of highlights or toner to remove any brassiness followed by a K18 treatment and my favourite part – the head massage.

“I love the K18 Molecular Repair Hair Mask as I’ve genuinely seen an improvement in the condition of my hair since using it. I also use the Milkshake haircare range – the products smell amazing and I love that it’s a clean brand, too. I also use the Moisture Plus shampoo and conditioner and every few washes, I’ll use the K18 instead of normal conditioner. I also recently started using the Kerastase 8h Magic Night Serum and it’s great – it works while you sleep to leave your hair feeling so soft with lots of movement. I also use the Vegamour HYDR-8 Leave In Conditioner when I want to slick my hair back but I know it’s also looking after my hair much better than hairspray. If I’m leaving my hair down, I love using the Dyson Multi Styler; it’s snag free and just makes the whole process a lot easier. Finally, when I know I’m going to be at home all day, I apply the Indē Wild Champi Hair Oil to my scalp, massage it in and leave it there until wash my hair. It reminds me of when my grandmother used to rub oil onto my scalp when I was younger. It’s a way for me to continue a ritual I shared with her.”

BROWS

“For years, I was shaping my own eyebrows until I met Aarti at Brau. Now, she’s my go-to person for nano-blading. She is amazing at keeping them looking natural and is always so attentive and listens to what I want. I’ve been so happy with my results there. Otherwise, I find it quite therapeutic doing my own brows – for some reason it never hurts as much as getting it done somewhere else. I usually just use tweezers to keep stray hairs at bay.”

NAILS

“I actually go to Snob for my nails too and Kristine is my usual nail technician. She’s helped grow my nails and get them into a healthier state, so I don’t need extensions. She pays such attention to the details and is a real perfectionist. I always go for neutral shades, but for fall I’m currently loving a hint of chocolate – so I’ll ask her to add chocolate tips.”

MAKE-UP

“Being a make-up artist and beauty expert means I’ve used hundreds of different make-up products and it also means the list of favourites is endless. Recently, I’ve been loving the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat liner in ‘Iconic Nude’. It’s the perfect ‘barely there’ colour for my skin tone and doesn’t look like I’ve actually lined my lips – and it’s also very long-lasting. The Dior Forever Foundation is my go-to – it lasts and looks fresh all day as its infused with hydrating skincare that still manages to keep your skin looking matte. My favourite bronzer is the Fenty Beauty Sunstalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade, ‘I$land Ting’, the pigment is subtle yet effective. I also love mixing my MILK Hydro Grip Primer with my foundation for a more flawless finish. When I want a dewier finish, I like the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation as it offers such a healthy glow. Lastly, I always keep a lip balm in my bag – right now it’s the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment in Salted Caramel. When I go beauty shopping, I always go to Sephora.”

SKINCARE

“Right now, I’m loving Rhode. I was lucky enough to have been sent some of the products to try, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I use the Glazing Milk, Peptide Glazing Fluid and Barrier Restore Cream in the morning. It’s ultra-calming for my skin which is exactly what it needs due to the amount of filming I do for YouTube. Sometimes I film four make-up looks in one day, and it takes a real toll on my skin. I also add in a niacinamide product every day, and right now I’m using the Lancer Triple Peptide Drops. My evening skincare routine consists of the Lancer Skincare Advanced Retinol Treatment with 1.25% Retinol once a week, and the Royal Fern Phytoactive Cream with the Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream for the other evenings. Both are so hydrating and calming for my skin. I also use a mask once a week, and because of my job as a make-up artist and YouTuber, I alternate between different brands to see what’s good. I also have a weekly newsletter about beauty, where I like to talk about different brands. I love using a glycolic acid mask and the one I go back to most frequently is the Lancer Caviar Lime Acid Peel.

“At-home skincare tools are also a major part of my routine. My favourites are the Currentbody LED Face Mask which I use for 20 minutes every other day. I also love the Cryo Globe Tool which is made from surgical grade steel. I leave mine in the freezer overnight and if I have a special event, I use it before doing my skincare or make-up. I just spend a few minutes rolling it over my face in upward sweeping motions and it also helps tighten my pores.”

TREATMENTS & TWEAKMENTS

“For the more intensive treatments, I go to Kaya Skin Clinic. I’ve been going there for nearly eight years. I get my Botox done there and I’ve tried a few different treatments such as micro-needling, skin boosters, PRP and ultherapy, which is skin tightening, and I’ve always been so pleased with the results. My dermatologist is Dr. Mansi and she knows my skin better than I do. She always has such good advice and even when I get a bit over excited at wanting to try new treatments, she’s very honest about whether I really need it or not.”

TEETH

“Dental care is so important to me, and my first and only choice is APA Aesthetic. Dr. Tarek did a full set of veneers for me and it was the best decision I ever made. He’s always looked after my teeth and is so professional. Although most people don’t, I love visiting the dentist. Apa is such a beautiful clinic – it feels like you’re going to a plush salon.”
