Everything This Stylish Founder Is Loving Right Now

As the founder of Cult Mia – the digital destination spotlighting the world’s most exciting independent designers – Nina Briance has carved out a distinct niche in the fashion world. Known for her sharp eye, love of craftsmanship and signature polished-meets-playful style, it’s no surprise her personal aesthetic is just as considered. From wardrobe staples to hard-working skincare, here’s everything she’s loving right now…

1. The Piece On Repeat

I’m currently obsessed with a structured oversized blazer – this one caught my eye this week. It strikes that perfect balance between effortless and polished: ideal layered over a sleek bodysuit and tailored trousers for meetings, or thrown over relaxed denim with a statement belt for off-duty days. It’s also been my go-to for feeling put-together throughout my second trimester.

2. The Style Signatures

I’m drawn to brands that push boundaries while maintaining impeccable craftsmanship – pieces that command attention and start conversations. Right now, I’m loving Lalo – incredibly versatile, especially in fall and winter when wardrobes can feel a bit uninspired. The knitwear is next-level (this transitional set is a favourite), and I recently wore this jacket and skirt set on Emirates News – it truly gave me the confidence for my first live TV appearance.

For events, Deme By Gabriella is my go-to for knockout dresses that are both flattering and ridiculously comfortable – the Jasmine dress in baby blue and Jolene in off-white are my spring/summer must-haves.

To complete my looks, I gravitate towards more well-known brands. I’m currently excited by playful flats and mules: these Alaïa  crystal-embellished ballet flats or these YSL leopard slides are a dream to elevate your day-to-day and even going into evening.

3. The Ones To Watch

At Cult Mia, discovering emerging brands is what we do – and there are a few names I can’t stop thinking about. Selezza London is a master of texture, Montsand has these incredibly innovative, structured silhouettes, and Lorena Saravia – a brand from my home country, Mexico – does the most iconic cowboy boots with a charro-inspired twist.

4. The Trend To Love

Embellishments and adornments aren’t going anywhere, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m loving statement pieces from  Rabanne and Happy Clothing for that extra sparkle.

5. The Forever Pieces

Living in London, a classic trench, an impeccably tailored blazer and the perfect white shirt – effortless, timeless and always polished.

6. The Styling Trick

Cinch it! A belt transforms any silhouette. I also love layering fine jewellery – it instantly makes even a simple jeans-and-tee outfit feel considered.

7. The Everyday Jewellery

Jewellery is deeply personal to me. I wear my grandmother’s round diamond studs almost every day – they’re so timeless and elegant. I also recently discovered a Swiss demi-fine brand that makes similar pieces – perfect for everyday wear without the pressure of precious jewellery.

8. The Power Accessory

Statement earrings, always. There’s something so transformative about a bold earring – they frame the face beautifully and instantly turn even the most minimal outfit into something intentional and elevated.

9. The Heirloom To Treasure

The most meaningful piece I own is my mum’s original Cartier Love bracelet – one of the earlier, more delicate designs with a chain sphere detail. She gave it to me on my 18th birthday and I’ve worn it every day since. The only time I took it off was on my wedding day – gold didn’t quite match my look, but it was back on immediately after.

10. The Beauty Philosophy

When it comes to skincare, I’m a firm believer that less is more. Hydration and high-quality ingredients are key. Natura Bissé and SkinCeuticals have been in my routine for over a decade – they just work.

11. The Treatment That Works

I’ve been doing laser treatments with Dr. Maryam Zamani. The BBL and nano laser options have been amazing post-pregnancy and after summer, helping to bring back my glow and smooth things out a little.

12. The Go-To Spot

I love heading to The Connaught Bar – it’s elegant, but the energy is always just right. I’ll usually order something with elderflower, alcoholic or not.

13. The Ultimate Indulgence

If I can get away for a bit longer, a long weekend at a wellness retreat – somewhere sunny – is my ultimate luxury. If I’m staying local, a luxe London staycation does the trick.

14. The Interior Style

At home, I’d describe my interior style as curated, elevated but lived-in. It’s a mix of family heirlooms and more modern, design-led pieces. I love texture, print and unexpected pairings – they make a space feel one-of-a-kind.

15. The Homeware Brand To Know

I’m currently loving L’Objet for its dynamic décor and dinnerware – it brings such personality to a room.

16. The Piece That Brings Joy

One of my most special pieces is a David Kracov sculpture called The Book of Love – it was a wedding gift, and it radiates positivity. It’s the kind of piece that lifts you up, even on harder days.

17. The Interior Update To Try

If I had one tip to instantly transform your home? Go for statement lighting, it completely changes the energy and aesthetic of a room.

18. The Habit To Embrace

One habit I’m working on – and genuinely think more of us could benefit from – is doing less, but with more depth and intention. It’s all about quality over quantity, in every area of life.

19. The Source Of Inspiration

I get so much of my creative energy from my team at Cult Mia. We’re an all-women group, representing eight nationalities and redefining what luxury fashion looks like today. Their drive, creativity and fresh perspectives inspire me every single day.

20. The Moment Of Pride

This past year has been a big one, personally and professionally. Cult Mia has seen its wildest growth yet, and I’ve become a mum. I’m proud of the boundaries I’ve set to protect my mornings and evenings with my daughter – it’s still a work in progress, but it’s something I’ve worked hard to prioritise.
