“To celebrate Eid this year, I’m travelling back home to Lebanon. I haven’t been since December, so I’m really looking forward to spending quality time with my family in Beirut. One of my favourite traditions is our big family lunch – extended family included – it’s always a time of joy and celebration. As a child, I loved the Ediya tradition. My grandfather would give each grandchild one of every kind of Lebanese lira bill to teach us about the different currencies. It’s a memory I’ll always cherish.

“For Eid dressing, I don’t have a go-to brand, but I always like to wear something new. I usually opt for fresh, flowy dresses and always prefer something colourful rather than dull. That being said, I'm loving everything and anything brown and earthy – from Saint Laurent bags to suede jackets and dresses, I’m living for these tones right now.

“My festive season favourites include the Alaïa Ballet Flats in knitted lurex. I wasn’t planning to cave into this trend, but they looked so good with kaftans and abayas during Ramadan. Another favourite is the Chanel Slingbacks, they refine and elevate any outfit.

“I’ve also been reaching for my barrel jeans a lot recently. I was sceptical at first, but Frame Denim has the perfect cut: ankle-length, high-rise, balloon leg. For accessories, my go-to bags include a Prada suede shoulder bag for texture and the Bottega Veneta Andiamo Clutch. I love my Ancient Greek Sandals, they give that barefoot, elongated look I love.

“For jewellery, it’s Stellar Gems lab-grown diamonds galore. With summer and travel coming up, nothing makes me feel better than diamonds – especially without the worry of travelling with them. If you don’t know what lab-grown diamonds are, I would recommend you get familiar with them.

“Off-duty, I turn to this Zimmermann denim dress. The dark wash and contrast stitching elevate the fabric. For cosy nights in, it’s Teejayz pyjamas.”

“Like every Eid, I’m all about quality time in Dubai with family and friends. I’d rather keep it cosy than go out, so we dress up and make the rounds visiting relatives and family friends at their homes or majlis. The energy at family gatherings is unmatched – I love getting dressed up, catching up, and just soaking in the festive vibes with my favourite people. And since the weather is still cool at night, there’s a good chance we’ll end up in the desert, making the most of those cool evenings. Eid prayer is such a peaceful start to the celebrations and I always look forward to it.

“Eid usually calls for a new outfit, but I'm embracing sustainability this year by re-styling pieces I already own. A classic kaftan or mukhwar is my go-to, especially for the first day. And I love supporting Dubai-based designers like BambahHessa FalasiIlli Studio and YNM for their modern takes on kaftans, and I am a long-time fan of Taller Marmo for chic, effortless silhouettes.

“I’ve been eyeing up the Khaite Scarlet dress, it would make me feel like I’m stepping into my most effortless and elevated self. So chic for Eid gatherings. I’m also coveting the Louboutin x Maison Margiela silver flats. As soon as I heard about this collaboration, I knew they had to be on my wish list. They’d work for both day and evening looks.

“Elsewhere, I'm loving this Mango cardigan, it was the buttons that sold me. I’d pair it with jeans or over a silky dress. This DeMellier London suede bag is perfect for packing Eid essentials. Then, I'm loving these Loewe denim trousers and Victoria Beckham’s blazers for their impeccable tailoring. I’m also after this Bottega Veneta Parachute bag.

“Also on my radar are these Ferragamo heels,  I love the colour and unique heel – they’d go perfectly with the Khaite dress and Karen Wazen sunglasses for a timeless, cool touch. I’m loving this Lime top, it’s giving me all the Ramadan and Eid feels. I would style it with wide-leg trousers and strappy sandals. Chats by C.Dam are doing everything right, its dresses are designed to make a woman feel stunning and this colourway is perfect for Eid.

“For jewellery, I recommend  Kamushki’s necklace, it is such a stunning piece to wear solo or layered. These Garrard earrings would add the perfect festive sparkle. Her final touch? A Boucheron statement ring, it’s one of those brands I can’t get enough of.”

“I’ll be spending Eid in Doha with my mum and family – and maybe going for sushi at the W Hotel, since I’ve missed it during Ramadan. One of my favourite parts of Eid is ordering sweets and arranging the coffee table the night before, then waking up early and getting dressed to be ready by 10am to celebrate.

“This year I definitely want to wear a piece from a local designer and accessorise it with international brands for shoes and jewellery. I don’t have one specific designer I go to every year – last Eid, I wore a dress by Ferragamo, and this year I’ll be wearing a Saudi designer – stay tuned.

“For accessories, I’m loving the Okhtein gold clutch, it’s fun and goes with everything from kaftans to dresses. I’m also a fan of the Alaïa Le Teckel bag, I love the shape and the colour adds a cute touch to any basic outfit. A recent favourite? The Destree jacket – I can’t wait to wear it with jeans or a simple dress and flats to elevate the look.

“For any Eid getaway, I’m packing a Gucci shirtdress, it’s light and so easy to wear. I swear by an Abadia dress for Eid morning, it will never fail me. And for Eid breakfast, I'm choosing a kaftan from Nora Al Shaikh, paired with black kitten heels.

“My wardrobe favourites include Magda Butrym for edgy yet romantic statement pieces, Jimmy Choo heels for their timeless appeal, and Louis Vuitton for knits. Layering is key for this time of year when the weather’s unpredictable, plus it’s an amazing colour. I’d style this sleeveless sweater with dark wash jeans and pumps.

“I’m a ‘scarf girlie’, my current favourite is my Hermès Scarf. It reminds me of Ramadan and the moon. I love wearing it draped over my shoulders with a white t-shirt, or tied around my head with a flowy dress for a boho look. Lastly, for something timeless and romantic, I'm reaching for a Marella blouse. I love the quality of the fabrics and the floral details – it’s classic with a unique touch.”

“This year, we’re planning to stay in Dubai because one of my best friends is getting married right after Eid. I’m so excited to attend her wedding – so no trips for us this time.

“Our special Eid tradition is to gather with my husband’s family in Ras Al Khaimah, where they live. We give gifts, Eidiyah and toys to the kids – it’s such a fun time for them, and they get so excited to open their presents.. I love gifting pyjamas for Eid – then we all change into our fun, festive outfits for the rest of the day. On the first day of Eid, we usually stay at home and, as I’m Iraqi, on the second day we like to go out for a meal somewhere that serves authentic Iraqi food. We love Al Maskoof on Al Wasl Road in Dubai and Kabab Erbil in Jumeirah – both are perfect for a family outing during Eid.”

“My ideal Eid outfit would be a colourful, joyful dress. I like sticking to one-piece outfits rather than layering – I want to feel happy, look cute and take lots of photos. I picked a yellow Simkhai’s Amarantha Off-Shoulder Dress this year because I love the cut and design – it’s so pretty and really comfortable, which is perfect for family gatherings.

“For shoes, I’ve got my eye on a pair of these Miu Miu Canvas Slides – I love the colourway and material. I also really like the shape of one of the Miu Miu Beau Top Handle Bag – it’s so unique and I feel like I can match it with lots of different outfits.

“This year, I’m also loving bright and festive colours – I found a beautiful kaftan that would be perfect for a family gathering. As for jewellery, I’m keeping it simple with a pair of ripple stud earrings – they add just the right touch of understated glamour to any Eid look.”

“I’m staying in Jeddah and spending Eid with my family, which is my favourite way to celebrate. Eid mornings start with prayers, followed by a big family breakfast filled with homemade treats. Later in the day, we head out for a beautiful lunch or dinner.

“One of my favourite moments is getting fully dressed up with my kids and capturing beautiful family photos – it’s a memory I cherish every year. I also love curating Eid gifts – elegant perfumes, gold jewellery or beautiful abayas for my loved ones. And of course, choosing a signature Eid scent. This year, I might go for something from Ghawali or Kayali – both feel so rich and festive.”

“I love supporting local designers, especially for Eid when I want something that feels extra special. Tima Abid and Adnan Akbar are my go-to for stunning kaftans and couture pieces. For jewellery, I adore OFA Jewelry and Noora Shawqi – both have such intricate, elegant designs. For accessories, I’d go for a unique clutch from Sarah’s Bag or Amolika.”

“This year, I’m embracing Saudi luxury with a stunning custom-made Tima Abid kaftan – her designs are always elegant and timeless. For accessories, I’ve been eyeing a Bottega clutch for a while, and OFA Jewellery for classic, intricate gold pieces. For shoes, I’m loving Amina Muaddi – her pieces have such a unique, artsy touch, perfect for Eid.”
