A Wellness Entrepreneur’s AM & PM Routines
IN THE AM...
In the mornings, I like to keep my skincare light. I start with a gentle cleanser – right now, I’m using the Tata Harper Softening Cleanse. It’s perfect for waking up my skin without stripping it of moisture. After cleansing, I always apply the SK-II Facial Treatment Pitera Essence and I then follow up with a vitamin C serum; my current favourite is from Drunk Elephant, which you can find at Sephora. If my skin feels like it needs extra hydration, I’ll layer on the Vital Hydra Solution Cream from Dr.Jart+. Finally, sunscreen is a non-negotiable for me. I’m a huge fan of the Eucerin Oil Control SPF 50+, and I make sure to reapply it throughout the day when I’m out and about.
When it comes to make-up, I prefer a simpler look. I use a touch of concealer under my eyes and around my nose to cover any redness. Brushing up my brows is essential, and I swear by the Refy Brow Sculpt – it’s a game-changer. For a fresh pop of colour, I use the Too Faced Cloud Crush Blush in Candy Clouds, and I top off my lips with the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer – I simply can’t live without it. My mascara of choice at the moment is the new one from Fenty Beauty, which is perfect for a natural daytime look. Lastly, to combat any excess shine, I finish with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, lightly applying it over my T-zone to keep my skin glowing and oil-free.
I’m all about getting workouts done in the morning. Starting my day feeling energised and fresh is unbeatable. Twice a week, I have personal training sessions at a gym that’s right next to my house. I also like Pilates classes – lately, I’ve been alternating between personal training and Pilates twice a week, and it’s really working wonders for me. Some days, my schedule gets a bit hectic, but I still find time to get outside. One of my favourite things to do is go for a peaceful 30-minute walk with my kids in Al Barari. The lush greenery makes it such a beautiful place to unwind and spend time with my loved ones.
I enjoy taking care of my hair. My hairdresser, Vatche, makes a special oil blend that’s made a real difference. I make it a point to oil my hair at least once a week, and it’s something I really look forward to. I also believe that scalp massages are so underrated – they’re such an important part of hair care, and I make sure to indulge in one weekly. Because my hair is very fine, I’ve struggled to find a hair mask that doesn’t weigh it down. But I’ve finally found my holy grail: the Leyla Milani Hairtamin Mask. It’s made such a difference in my haircare routine. These small rituals, like oiling my hair and using a mask, have become moments I cherish – they leave my hair feeling nourished and healthy.

IN THE PM...
One of the most precious parts of my day is my evening ritual. After a busy day, these 20 minutes have become my sacred self-care time. I always set the mood by lighting my favourite Trudon CIRE candle – its gentle glow and soothing scent create a calm and inviting atmosphere for me to unwind.
The first step in my skincare routine is always double cleansing. I use the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm to melt away make-up and any build-up from the day, followed by Cetaphil’s Gentle Cleanser to make sure my skin is squeaky clean. Double cleansing is non-negotiable for me. Depending on how my skin feels, I like to tailor my routine. If I need a hydration boost, I’ll reach for the SK-II Facial Treatment Pitera Essence – it leaves my skin feeling instantly refreshed. I then finish with the Shiseido Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Cream, which I recently added to my collection. By morning, my skin looks so plump and radiant that I’m excited to use it all over again. If I have extra time, I’ll also treat myself to the MZ Skin LED Mask by Dr. Maryam Zamani. This red-light mask is incredible for boosting collagen and resetting my skin overnight. These small moments of self-care at night really help me recharge and start the next day feeling fresh and energised.
Self-care, for me, is essential to soothing my nervous system. After a long, stressful day, there’s nothing better than crawling into bed with my two boys and watching a movie on Netflix. Spending time with them is my greatest joy, and I’d choose this cosy, quiet time with them over any luxe event. It’s truly my favourite way to unwind. I also make sure to stop all screen time at least half an hour before bed. I’ve found that the further I am from my phone, the less stressed I feel. Instead, I focus on listening to calming music to help me relax. These small changes, like reducing screen time and prioritising moments with my kids, have made such a big difference in helping me end the day on a peaceful note.
